Full Review
The Allet Daily Mini Sling is quite small—just 2.3 liters. Is this large enough to work for travel, or will we wish we brought a larger sling along? Let’s dive in and find out.
External Components
The pack is crafted from 100% recycled nylon. The fabric is lightweight but has proven durable in testing around the city and on bike rides. It isn’t rugged enough for outdoor adventures but can handle a hike or two without worry.

Four colorways are available at the time of writing: Lunar Ash (white), Sage Green, Blue Haze, and Black. All of them have orange interiors, which is trendy and makes finding gear easier.
The zippers are from YKK, the best brand in the business. They’re smooth and easy to operate. The pulls are simple but effective, consisting of a paracord-like material and plastic that’s shrunk around the ends.

The magnetic buckle isn’t from a brand we recognize, but it works well and is easy to open and close. It’s a little small, but we haven’t had an issue using it.
There’s not a lot going on here, but it looks sleek and is easy to get from point A to point B, so we’re fine with the simplicity.
Fit Notes

The strap isn’t very thick but has a good width, which spreads out the weight of the gear inside the bag. There’s no padding or aeration, but it’s comfortable to carry because the pack is just 2.3 liters. It can dig in slightly if you’re wearing a thin shirt or have exposed skin, but we don’t often run into this issue.
The strap attaches to a loop on the side of the pack and can pivot back and forth, making harsh angles less pronounced, and it is less likely that the strap bites you in the corners. We dig this design, as it makes it easier to wear it in any position you find comfortable.
The buckle placement is also strategic, as it’s near the bag itself, so you can wear this sling with a travel backpack or daypack without that bag resting on the buckle and causing discomfort.

The back panel has some thin padding, but it’s not thick enough to be noticeable. Still, as this is a small sling, we found it to be quite comfortable.
Carrying the Allett Daily Mini Sling is easy and comfortable, even if you pack it thoroughly with tech and other daily-use items. There are occasions when the strap can dig in, but we didn’t find these to be very common.
Inside The Sling
The front pocket is accessible from the side. It has a soft liner material and is well-suited for stowing sunglasses, your phone, or other sensitive items. There’s no organization here, but the zipper’s placement makes it quick to access, making it a solid place to stow items you want to grab.

The main compartment has two zippers, so you can leave them wherever you want. The zippers can catch behind the side loops that attach to the strap, which can deter theft but is just annoying most of the time. You can leave the zippers on the inside of the loop so you don’t have to deal with them, but if you do this, you can’t open the main compartment as far as usual.
The front side of the main compartment has a large liner pocket without a topper or padding, which works well for items like a battery bank or bulky wallet.
A large storage area in the middle of the main compartment is ideal for larger items like headphones or tech.

On the backside are two stretch pockets, which work well for items you don’t want to bounce around as much, and a large liner pocket that features padding on the inside and is protected by the back panel padding on the other. It’s a solid place to stow your phone, passport, or other delicate items. The stretchy pockets work for earbuds, a minimalist wallet, or small cables.

This sling can handle everything you’d typically store inside your pockets and a little extra, leaving your pants feeling lighter and everything in one place. The design is nothing revolutionary, but it works well for most casual uses, and we can’t scoff at that.
