Weather resistance is a big focus here. The fabric naturally sheds light moisture, and the YKK AquaGuard zippers add another layer of protection. These zippers are smooth overall, though they can feel a bit slower to open and close than standard reverse-coil options. That’s pretty typical for AquaGuard, and in this case, it feels like a fair tradeoff for the added protection.

The MagLockz hardware is one of the more unique elements on this sling. It uses a magnetic-assisted locking system that feels secure once engaged, though it can be a little tricky to detach at first. The rest of the compartment is open, giving you flexibility to carry larger gear. For a 2-liter sling, it’s surprisingly capable—you can fit something like a Nintendo Switch or even over-ear headphones without too much trouble.
