Full Review

The INIU P41-E1 Power Bank is a fairly standard battery bank. That statement might seem like a slight, but we promise, we don’t mean it like that. The price is reasonable, the capacity is standard, and the output feels average. For the price, is the INIU P41-E1 Power Bank worth a punt? Let’s dive in and find out!

The Rundown

The exterior of the battery bank is made of plastic, although it feels durable enough for daily use. It isn’t the most durable battery bank we’ve tested, and it feels as though it would break if dropped from a high enough height. For instance, if you dropped it down a standard set of concrete stairs (like those in the hotel stairway), it might crack. Still, we haven’t had that happen, and we don’t plan to chuck it down the stairs at any point, either.

INIU P41-E1 Power Bank Palm
INIU P41-E1 Power Bank | The battery bank is a solid size.

The bank comes in at 10,000 mAh, which is fairly standard for a battery bank in 2025. The newest iPhone at the time of writing is the iPhone 17, which has a capacity of 3692 mAh. After you factor in heat loss and other factors, you’ll get close to two full charges from this battery bank.

The battery bank outputs 22.5 watts of power, which isn’t bad, but it’s also not particularly exciting. It’ll charge your phone adequately, but it isn’t powerful enough for a laptop. For most uses, it works fine and charges quickly, though.

INIU P41-E1 Power Bank Ports
INIU P41-E1 Power Bank | The device has three ports.

The device features 2 USB-C ports and a USB-A port. In testing, we didn’t use the USB-A port much, but it’s handy in a pinch. You can charge using all three ports simultaneously, which is a slow process, as the output can’t handle that many devices. However, in an emergency, it’s nice to be able to keep everything charging. You can charge the device while charging something else, such as your phone, which is handy for travel. When you wake up, your battery bank, phone, and headphones will be fully charged.

INIU P41-E1 Power Bank Slip Pocket
INIU P41-E1 Power Bank | The paw is unique.

There’s a button on the side of the battery bank that illuminates the dog paw on the front of the device when pressed. The paw has four paw pads, and each one represents roughly 25% of the battery. So, with one paw pad, you’re between 0 and 25%, with two, you’re between 25% and 50%, with three, you’re between 50% and 75%, and with four, you’re between 75% and 100%. It’s a little unusual, but if you’re an animal lover, it’s a fun accessory.

Packability

If you’re old enough to remember, the device is roughly the size of a mid-2000s texting phone. You know, the kind you flipped or slid open to reveal a full-screen keyboard with numbers and a left, right, down, up D-pad. If you don’t remember that era, the device is roughly the size of a leather dad wallet, but right after he cleaned it out for the first time in 5 years. It isn’t super thick, basically.

INIU P41-E1 Power Bank Pocket
INIU P41-E1 Power Bank | You can fit it inside your pocket.

The INIU P41-E1 Power Bank fits into some front pockets, but this’ll depend on the size of your pants and the size of the pockets. Your back pocket is likely a better fit, but it’s large enough to cause discomfort if you sit on it. Plus, as we mentioned, the plastic isn’t very dense. It might sound funny, but death by butt cheek isn’t an ideal way for anyone to go, even a budget-friendly battery bank.

This device is small enough to fit into a tech pouch without issue. It may struggle to fit nicely into some smaller slings, but anything medium or travel-sized should work fine. It’s average-sized, not tiny or enormous, and we’re here for that, as the price point tells us that’s what we probably deserve.

Quick Comparison

Another 10,000 mAh battery bank that we dig is the NITECORE NB Plus 10,000mAh Lightweight Power Bank. This is a more expensive model with extra features, but that doesn’t mean you’ll actually use them.

The NITECORE has a volume of 5.21042 cubic inches, compared to the INIU’s 7.827 cubic inches, so it has significantly less volume than the INIU. Still, both are pocketable, but the NITECORE model is skinnier, which makes it easier to fit into tight-fitting pants with skinny pockets.

INIU P41-E1 Power Bank Comparison
INIU P41-E1 Power Bank | Both battery banks have unique sizes.

The NITECORE has one USB-C and one USB-A port, whereas the INIU has an extra USB-C port. This is particularly handy for pass-through charging, as you can charge two devices while the battery bank is charging with the INIU, whereas the NITECORE only offers one port for charging the device.

Both devices max out at 22.5 watts, which, as we said earlier, is fine. This isn’t a fantastic spec, but you won’t feel left behind by it, either. You notice it more with the INIU if you’re charging three devices at once.

The INIU device is crafted from cheaper plastic, whereas the NITECORE model has carbon fiber sheets on either side, which adds durability without making it super heavy. It’s a more rugged device, but if you’re just going back and forth to school or work with the battery bank in your bag, they’ll both perform fine. On the trail, we’d rather have the NITECORE with us.

INIU P41-E1 Power Bank Showcase
INIU P41-E1 Power Bank | For the price, we dig this device.

At the time of writing, the NITECORE model is priced at around $60, whereas the INIU battery bank is priced at $35, offering some solid savings. It might not be as durable, but you get an extra port, a dog paw print, and some extra cash in your pocket when everything is said and done. If you need something more durable or skinny, the NITECORE model is for you. Otherwise, the INIU is a solid budget-friendly option!
